The Sungei Road Trinkets

I went treasure hunting on Saturday at the Sungei Road flea market and scooped up a bunch of trinkets. I think it’s really fun to re-invent found jewellery or jewellery parts into new jewellery pieces. I find it thrilling that you never know what you’re going to chance upon.

These are pretty much just Indian jewellery parts. Love the ethnic flavour though. And they’ll work like charms (pun intended).

Then there’s this gorgeous bead and ball chain dangle necklace! Love the colour of it! But as gorgeous as it is, I still insist on taking it apart and making it into something new. It looks too delicate for my taste.
